My sister taught me how to crochet and I have since been making a giant mess of yarn every chance I get. My first project was a dish cloth, which I was inappropriately proud of myself for making. For my second project I took some inspiration from the crazy cold temps we’ve had here the past week and made an ear warmer.

It isn’t great, but it is a step up from the dish cloth! Now I’m going to attempt a blanket. How hard can it be, right? 😉

I’ve seen a lot of silly quizzes floating around Twitter, so I decided to take a few this week. The first quiz, How Y’all, Youse, and You Guys Talk, revealed that I have a….drumroll please… an Indiana dialect. No surprise there, born and raised a Hoosier.

What dialect do you speak?

The second quiz, What Age Are You, Really, tells me I am a 45 year old woman trapped in a 30 year old’s body. Sounds about right. So what they’re telling me is that not everyone my age gets excited about going to bed at 9PM? I’m not buying it. 😉

What age are you?

The third quiz I took was, Which Disney Princess Are You?, and the results confirmed my long held love for two princesses in particular. Ariel and Cinderella!

Which princess are you?

I have a pair of black heels that have seen better days, and I’m planning to try this crafty project to turn them into glitter heels. I’m thinking either black or red glitter. Has anyone ever tried this or anything similar? Tips welcome!
