In the last month I’ve had many choices to make. About my long term career goals, when to start a family, where to live, whether or not to finish the basement, how to invest my free time, etc. The list goes on and seemingly never stops.
Though I am overwhelmed, I’m also incredibly thankful to be in a position of choice and opportunity. I know many aren’t as lucky. A peaceful environment to contemplate decisions and a supportive husband to lean on for advice are amazing gifts.
When I feel overwhelmed with choices, when I’m having a hard time discerning what God wills for my future – those are the times I should be extra thankful because I have been so blessed, rather than angry or stressed out because I don’t know what to choose.
