My favorite blogs

If you’re like me and don’t want to leave the house in this frigid weather, snuggle up on the couch with some hot cocoa and check out some of my favorite blogs below.

Aspiring Kennedy – Travel, living abroad with kids, all things London

I love following along on Lauren’s travel adventures with her adorable family. Her advice about which places to visit is always spot on! I’ve used her travel guides for our trips to Ireland and Maui. Also, her children are out-of-control cute and I have fun reading about what life is like in London for expats.

Everyday Ann – Adoptive parenting, Catholicism

Ann writes about motherhood, infertility, and adoption. She also shares about some DIY projects. I *think* that’s how I found her blog, via a post about updating knobs on a dresser.

Mix and Match Mama – Recipes, fashion, adoption, book reviews

I learned about Shay’s blog via her brother’s season of The Bachelor. She has several cookbooks and shares weekly recipes. The posts I enjoy reading the most are about the adoptions of her two youngest daughters.

Carolina Charm – Motherhood, DIY projects, party planning

Christina shares about motherhood, fashion, DIY projects, recipes, etc. My favorite posts are about party planning, like a recent post about a progressive dinner. I keep hearing about progressive dinners. Have you ever participated in one? Sounds so fun.

The Road Home – Infertility, Catholicism, motherhood

I stumbled upon Rebecca’s blog when I was going through a very dark time in our infertility journey. Her honesty about how hard it was, but also about how her faith helped her hang on to hope, was just what I needed to read.

We, A Great Parade – Catholicism, motherhood, adoption

Shannon writes about motherhood, race relations, adoption, and her faith. One of the things I like about her writing the most, along with the Upside Down podcast she co-hosts, is that it challenges me to grow in the way I think about other people, myself, the world, and what my place is in it as a Christian.
