Hey friends! I hope your new year is off to a fabulous start. We had the best Christmas season, surrounded by lots of love with both sides of our family. We traveled a lot in December, so in January we’ve been staying home and keeping a low profile. For me…

I set a 2018 goal to read at least 2 books per month from the library to: encourage me to read more, and borrow instead of buy, decreasing what I spend on books. I’ve read 16 books this year so far — 11 from the library, 4 purchased, 1 borrowed…
2 CommentsI really enjoy books that offer concrete, practical steps you can take to strengthen your faith. One such book I had the pleasure to read recently is Rediscover Catholicism by Matthew Kelly. Kelly urges readers to do one thing at the beginning of Mass each week. Pray, and ask the…
1 CommentReading is one of my favorite hobbies. It doesn’t take much for me to be sucked into another world and completely absorbed with a character’s life. This past weekend, I read two books in a series my sister and her boyfriend gave me for my birthday. After completing the last…

It cites the self-centered attitudes/morals/behaviors of the Baby Boomers as the cause of many of America’s problems. Rather than simply pointing out the issues the plague America today, the author Sammy Tippet digs…

The waiting process seems to be endless.
