Before I dive in to share my favorite recipe from April, I need to make a quick update to March’s post. The photograph of the Masterpieces from our Kitchen banana cake recipe shows you should use 12 tsp of salt! When I was making it, I assumed it was a typo and used 1/2 a teaspoon. Thank you to my mother-in-law for bringing that to my attention! That would be some salty cake.

This month, my favorite recipe was Spaghetti Carbonara from my trusty Joy of Cooking cookbook. I added some peas because I wanted a veggie in the pasta. It was delish; highly recommend!
