I watch Army Wives on Lifetime pretty regularly. The show follows the fictitious trials and triumphs of five women with connections to the military either through their own participation or via marriage. The acting isn’t exactly first rate, but I always look forward to the mindless hour I spend watching it on Sunday nights.

1 CommentYou are writing a gospel,
A chapter each day.
By the deeds that you do,
By the words that you say.
Men read what you write,
Whether faithless or true.
So tell me what is the gospel,
According to you?– First lines of the song “The Gospel According to You” written by Richard Johnson
There are several things I don’t like about my bank. They have very few physical locations (though they are gaining more), most deposits must be made by mail, and they don’t accept cash deposits at all.

Leave a CommentI started reading Dan Kennedy’s No B.S. Marketing to the Affluent yesterday on my lunch. I’ve only made it 40 pages in, but I’m rather uneasy about his approach so far. It strikes me as slimy and the language he uses to describe his findings reads like an excerpt from a “Get Rich Quick!” seminar.
1 CommentI was just attending a webinar by the author David Meerman Scott on his book, The New Rules of Marketing & PR. I read the book and enjoyed it, even putting some of the principles into play at work.
3 CommentsEver since I started reading (at the ripe age of 4) I’ve dreamt of being an author.
